Books (and stories):
My first short story is appearing in an anthology! It's with Victory Tales Press, in the Easter 2011 Anthology, entitled 'Lilies of Hope'.
Blurb:
Alexis Jenson is teaching her third grade class in a small town north of Biloxi, Mississippi, when a knock at the door interrupts her. She opens it to a man she doesn't know and he makes his way to the back of the class. She begins to teach, not sure why the man's there. After calling on Caleb—a student—she doesn't accept his smart-aleck answer, and sends the child to the back of the room. After school's out for the day, the man walks to her desk and reprimands her for picking on Caleb. The man's name is Dr. Jasper O'Malley, a local pediatrician and the president of the school board. He explains that he suspects Caleb is abused at home and the boy's father is due out jail soon. If anything happens to Caleb and Alexis doesn't report it, he'll have Alexis charged and put into jail.
Alexis isn't happy and goes to her apartment to make cookies—a stress release for her. As she's working Jasper calls her to apologize, then they go out to eat and past Caleb's trailer. The police are there, and Caleb and his younger sister are sitting outside. Their father killed their mother and himself…so the children are now orphans. Jasper's willing to raise the children, because their relatives don't want them…but needs to be married. Can Alexis be true to her feelings and think of others before herself, or does she walk away from the situation?

My FIRST book is out at Red Rose Publishing!
Here's more about Hearts of Compassion and the book cover:
Rylee Fitz, lonely daughter of a millionaire, is forced to work at a homeless shelter in up-state New York as a team building exercise for her job. Since her goal is to get her immediate boss' job, she jumps at the chance.
Ben Colson, the homeless shelter's lawyer who was fired when he'd been working for Rylee's father, is bitter from having to start over again. He also wants to move on with his life, but no woman ever fits the bill.
To her horror, Ben makes Rylee do manual labor and teaches her that brooms don't need to be plugged in to work.
When he takes the time to actually treat her like a human being, Rylee finds herself falling for him.
She just hopes he finds it in his heart to deal with her problems, and can forgive her family for treating him badly.
